Michael and Jes opened Marigold Adornment in 2017 with the goal of offering the highest quality tattoo and piercing services right in the heart of Montpelier, Vermont. Together they have over 55 years of industry experience! Fusing decades of experience with Michael's training in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine as a US Army Veteran and Critical Care Paramedic, Marigold is striving to set a new standard for body art safety in Vermont! 

Not only did Michael and Jes meet at the 2002 Association of Professional Piercers annual Safety/Education conference, but we are proud to be Vermont's only APP member studio. We have Vermont's largest selection of high quality, safe jewelry made from: implant grade Steel, implant grade Titanium, Niobium, Glass, Platinum, and 18k/14k Solid Gold in white, yellow, and rose. Michael and Jes are both certified Applied Jewelry Professionals through the Gemological Institute of America. Michael maintains active membership in Jewelers of America, MJSA, Ethical Metalsmiths and has additional formal jewelry production training through New Approach School, Jewelry Institute of America and PJ Chen CAD. This allows us to offer onsite jewelry customization, repairs and stone setting. Our jewelry selection is always growing and evolving! Recognizing that the tattoo process can feel daunting, we prioritize open communication to address all of your questions regarding design, safety procedures, healing, and the life-changing experience of getting tattooed. As a second generation tattooer, Jes leans heavily on the deep history of tattoo culture and believes in creating a client experience that removes barriers many have found intimidating or stressful. These values are at the heart of the entire tattoo team at Marigold, our goal is to support you through your tattoo journey!
